Nice Little PS2 GH Deal at CC.com

Hi. I guess folks are aware by now that this week Circuit City is offering a buy 2 / get 1 free deal on PS2 GH titles. What I didn't know it that if you go online, those GH titles are all $13.33 each. This is a pretty good deal if you were only interested in one or two games (I just wanted Baldaur's Gate : DA). This might work for someone else (especially those who just wanted GTA 3). Shipping is free. This deal should only be good until tomorrow (7/5).

Hope this helps someone!

ps: don't forget to use the DVDtalk link above.

You don't. At the store, you get one free when you buy 2 (i.e. 3 for $40). It's not a "better" deal online, but by being able to buy them individually, it works out to be more convienent (1 for $13.33, 2 for $26.66, 3 for $39.99, etc.).

Yes, that's a better deal than Best Buy using a coupon and you get to save your coupons for later. From your "wish list", they had GT3, SSX, Ace Combat 04, Spider Man and MGS2.

I picked up

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
Grand Theft Auto 3
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Max Payne
Onimusha: Warlords
Spider-Man: The Movie
Crash Bandicoot 5: The Wrath of Cortex
Devil May Cry
Ace Combat 4

They all have top marks at Gamespot, I believe, and some of those are classics that everyone agrees everyone should play
This should hold me over until the end of the year

Dang, Deb, you should be set for a while!
GTA 3 is simply the best game on the system
MGS 2 is pretty good, but gets a lot of criticism on this board. Certainly worth $13
DMC is hard, but fun
Ace Combat 04 is a very good flight combat game

Those are all I have.

I rented Onimusha and liked it (though it's dated now).
I didn't think Max Payne played very well on the PS2; a bad port, IMO. If you had an Xbox, I'd get it for that system instead. Of course, any game purchased online can be returned at the retail store.

No more games, I swear. I have a game budget ($20 a week - which is really a DVD/movie ticket/eating out/scrabble books/whatever I'm into at the moment "entertainment" budget) and I just blew it until the last week of August, so that means no non-budget purchases until then

My Action Replay should be here any day now, which means I can start playing my PS2 games. Until then, now that I have the GB player, it's all Golden Sun. I can't believe I said the graphics would look bad.

Decker should I be worried that I got a confirmation e-mail within 2 minutes of placing the second order for two games and the first order with 8 games is still processing and no e-mail half an hour later? That doesn't mean some of the games are not in stock does it? When I go online both orders appear, the second one as processed and the first as in process.
