Enter The Matrix: Question
Is there any way to watch the cut scenes and the movie scenes without playing each level?
I see there are a lot of AVI files in the movies directory, but they do not play in Quicktime or media player.

Why don't you kinda make a "game" of it... and the reward for playing through the game can be... let's see... the exclusive cut-scenes?

Or you could consult the "hacking" guide

Did anyone see the easter egg in the game?
Leave the main menu untouched and wait for a few minutes. The trailer for the game plays automatically, along with mini interviews from the cast and crew.

Unreal 2
Splinter Cell
X2: wolverine's revenge
LOTR
ETM
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi outcast
I consider ETM less of a game and more of an extended MAtrix Reloaded/Animatrix experience. Compared to all other games ETM sucks and I just want to see the cut scenes and be done with it. Plus with the time it takes to play the other better games, I dont have the time to spend on ETM which is far worse than any of the others above.
But if you look at it as a movie and not as a game, it is less painful and more enjoyable. As a die-hard Matrix fan I do enjoy the FMVs and cut scenes tremendously.
Anyway thanks for the input from everyone here, negative or positive. Maybe it was a bad topic to discuss here, but the vehemence with which I have been denounced here was unwarranted. But it is OK as Triger and others have helped me out in other cases when I got stuck in a game.
Let's close the topic and move on.

Another thing is I hardly get an hour a day to play due to family and kids and work. I have some games with me that I haven't even installed yet, like Tony Hawks 3.

OK I need help in the level where Niobe has to save Ice and Corrupt. I am stuck trying to "destroy the three anchors at the base of the gear". What anchors on which gear? What do I do with the demo charge in my inventory? All I see is a circular tunnel the arrow points at but is barred from entering.

I don't remember... run around for a while and shoot stuff, you'll get it eventually. I was utterly amazed by the lack of any type of skill required to play this game. I still think it's moderatly fun... but I'll buy it when it's ten bucks, not what it is now...

I see this less as a game and more as an interactive movie.
Even my 5 year old laughs at the ladder/fence climbing moves. Splinter cell had much better moves. But the focus feature is very cool.

I found a lot of the story to be pretty bad (trying to rehash the original too much, putting characters in stupid places that don't go along, logically, with the movie) with some of it really good (such as the airport.)
The focus feature is just a rehash of past games... you're right that the animation is bad... as are the graphics.. I actually think the fighting gameplay isn't that bad... it's just totally lacking any skill whats-so-ever.

GTA Vice City was something I really liked, even better than Mafia, but it keeps crashing my Win2K system.
