I finished this game around the first of the year, and it still remains my favorite Xbox game. I have played and finished Halo, Medal of Honor, and Splinter Cell, so that gives you an idea of how much I enjoyed it. (Splinter Cell was a close second, but it is a different kind of game)I am not a Star Wars junkie, but I liked the original movies, and I like the idea of playing as a Jedi. This game had a lot of fun surprises and enough changes in gameplay that it was fun. The game starts out kinda slow because you have no lightsaber or jedi powers. Once you get the saber and the powers things begin to take off. You slowly aquire greater skills and powers with the completion of each level. There is a nice build up, and it is a lot of fun. I don't care for the Star Wars vehicle games, because I like action/adventure games. This is far better than Obi-wan which I thought was really bad. I am hoping that the Knights of the Old Republic is half this good. IMO I don't think you can go wrong with this game if you want to play as a Jedi.

I just got this game and i love it! Its got a cool multiplayer with computer controlled bots that actually are a challenge to beat. The jedi powers are way cool and its a fun storyline. GET IT!

If you don't have any issues meeting the system requirements, I think that the PC version is still the better way to go; unless you are one of those people that have this natural aversion to PC gaming.

Yeah I agree, because the online component for the PC is the only reason to get this game. The single-player is filled with too many puzzles and not enough "jedi".
Now, it looks like the real Jedi Outcast II - that is, Jedi Academy, will be worth it's weight in gold, complete with a customizable character option (with custom lightsabers
). Let's just hope it's XBL compatable...

Jedi Knight 2 on XBox?

"It stinks!"
In all seriousness I prefer this game on PC. Lightsaber combat is much easier on keyboard/mouse combo. Even using the S controller I found this game to be unenjoyable.

I think the topic is about the recently announced Jedi Outcast 2: Jedi Academy...
Seems you guys are talking about the old one. It looks to me like Jedi Academy is "borrowing" a lot of elements from the upcoming (hopefully this year...) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game...
