I would play the game if your character would eventually die and you couldn't be revived. Sorta like you went on a big quest and killed the evil moster destroying the world and maybe another battle you died and then they build a statue of you in some town or something. Or you grow old after playing for three months (maybe limit to 5 hours per week or you will age faster) and then you would expire. It needs to have an end so people won't be wasting their lives.

Does the PS2 version have an offline game like PSO or is this STRICTLY an online game?

BTW, for those who got bored with the PC game, PS2 is maybe a bit faster, but it's still (to me) the same old EQ. I'm already kind of bored after playing 2 days (which is a good thing, as it is still pointless as ever).
The one thing that's kind of cool is a lot of the locales are the same ones as EQPC, but in the past, so they are less built up and stuff. Still, not enough to keep me playing after my free time runs out.
