Not really surprised. Its a great looking version and has Spawn. If I still had an Xbox I would probably go with the Xbox version.

Gamecube.

Link is the deciding factor for me as that's the only extra character that interests me.

I'd rank them as follows:

1. GC- Link and the Wavebird.

2. X-box. Spawns ok, 720p is a non issue for me as I won't have an HDTV set for years.

3. PS2. Heihachi was lame in the Tekken games and I'm sure he'll be lame here. I also am not a big fan of the PS2 controller for 3D fighters. I've never liked it's D-pad and don't like the position of the analog stick. The right analog stick and D-pad should switch places IMO.

I have all 3 systems, so it comes down between cube and xbox. Xbox probably will have slightly better graphics, but the cube has Link. Haven't decided yet : /

Let's see: The Legend of Zelda is my favorite game of all time, and LOZ: OOT is my second favorite game ever. My second pre-order ever is LOZ: Wind Waker, while my first was LOZ: OOT. Is there a question which I'm buying?

XboX - no question - all things being equal in the game department sans the extra character, the XboX controller S is the best damn controller I've ever had for fighters or ANY game, period. (though I LOVE my wavebird - best wireless controller for games OTHER than fighting games - an essential for beach spikers)

Link is male, and he's a Hyrulian.

Anyway, Gamecube all the way

i've heard of him, but never played the games. so i don't know what he is. the (overly)realistic style is suprising b/c i like the cartoony look.

hyrulians have pointy ears, i surmise. i assumed he was some sort of elf (or vulcan )

I'll import the GameCube version in March.

Just picked up 2 PS2 -> GameCube controller adapters from KBtoys holiday sale for $6 each. Now I can break out my old PS1 arcade sticks and the controller limitation is solved.

Accidently voted for Xbox (doh), but I'm going for the Gamecube version. Link is too damn cool! Wouldn't it have been cool if Namco could have added in Ganondorf as well?!

I'm not really into the Spawn character, I was secretly hoping Master Chief would be the Xbox exclusive. Imagine Master Chief fighting with an Elite plasma sword as his weapon!

Why pick just one? I plan to own all three . But I couldnt wait so I imported the Cube version simply because its easier to play imports on, and also less expensive.
