I thought this was a good deal, feel free to close if it's not or already been posted.
Amazon has Sega Sports NFL 2k3 and NBA 2k3 for only 9.99 each for the GameCube. (prob others, but I was looking for a football game, and basketball game only)
ps. This could be the norm price now, but haven't seen either for that cheap anywhere else.

Just the general warnings about getting NBA 2K3 for the Cube.
It freezes up randomly. That can be frustrating when playing a season. Still $9.99 is pretty cheap and if the lock ups don't bother you go for it.

Anybody know how come NHL 2k3 for all platforms is $49.99 everywhere? I guess it's because its relatively newer, but I thought it's been out for quite a while now and would start dropping like the others.

thanks for the heads up. Amazon has NFL 2k3 and NCAA 2k3 for 9.99 for PS2, but no basketball games. I'd get the NCAA game, but I ain't paying $5 for shipping, so maybe I'll check Target after work to see if their prices reflect the same.
I also checked to EB and BestBuy websites, and they don't reflect the same prices for PS2 versions(even though they were like $15 at EB).

I wouldn't even recommend NBA 2K3 for GC for $10. The freezing is really bad on that version, and it isn't worth anyone's time or frustration. You CAN"T look past it. Not a good purchase... Now, NFL 2K3 for $10 is a very good deal (even though I realy, really dislike that game)...

SpacemanSpiff, I have never heard that it has not freezed on anyone who has it. The worst part is that it took Sega forever to acknowledge that it actually locked up at random, and when they finally admitted it, they swore that they would rectify the problem "soon". Instead, they tried to take a long time so people could forget about the problem, and to this day it exists in all copies. Of course, in the mean time, Sega announced that they would stop making GC games because of poor sales (which obviously had nothing to do with the poor ports they were putting out).

Fix for the lockups:
Turn off the scoreboard overlays or something like that. There's a screwup in those that causes the lockups. So disable some/all of those, and you'll be good to go. :>
