I was wondering...Do you need to hook up the XBOX directly into the Router or can I plug it into a switch, which is connected to the Router? This seems like a dumb question...but I don't know how peculiar the XBOX live is.

I have my cable modem hooked up to a router and then to a switch and then the xbox and it works fine.
