Now aint that a B#tch! Ive played with both Christie and Hitomi and ive noticed that when i played with Hitomi, the swimsuits at the sportshop were all different than the time i played with Christie. So i saw this hott a$$ outfit i wanted for Christie, so i threw down like 350K or something just to have her put it in the trash. Ive hear some people say that they've had some of the girls throw away the Venus outfit after they spent 1 Mil on it, i hope that dont happen to me.

Use your trigger buttons almost anytime (except while the ball is in the air) to zoom and move the camera. The movement range is pretty limited but you can rotate it with the sticks. It works during replays, but the true "money shots" are when they're doing their little post-score celebrations. Also works great if you go to an empty beach area (your girl will roll around in the sand etc) or just to check her out at the pool.

As for the suits, you have to do a lot of gift giving and buttering-up to get them to wear the skimpy suits. Apparently, different girls like different kinds of suits (Hitomi doesn't like them too small and Christie seems to favor thongs). If you want Hitomi to wear the Venus, you have to give gifts three times a day for many days in a row. Watch to see if they have musical notes coming off their picture. If they're are whistling 2 notes at a time, that's a good time to "try something".

Maybe its the painkillers but Im laughing like a loon at you guys being rejected by chicks in a videogame. :lol:

Hey, does anyone know: when you say "two notes at a time", do you mean like a "double note" (like two combined) or just notes coming out very fast?

Thanks for your response. I figured out the whole zooming thing while they're posing, but the camera angle during the actual volleyball matches sucks! I was expecting a view similar to what you'd see in most tennis games, where the camera stays behind the player so you can see ahead. I wish there was a simple option to choose that view...

Ah, I just got this game Sunday and already have 15 hours of play, however, I really have very little to show for it in the game. No one ever excepts the damn suits I buy! I've waisted around 9 million trying... why did they make this so difficult?

I got Hitomi in the Venus after having about 3 thrown out. The trick is the LOVE items, not the like items. I don't want to spoil anything by telling her love items, and they're not hard to find on the net anyways.

any tips on how to win big in roulette and make millions on gambling in that game?

i only lasted 15 days till the volcano erupted and have to start a new game. the most xpensive bikini i could buy for the grrls is the 400,000 one.

well the_dude8 every game only lasts 14 days and then you start over, so you didn't screw up :), but how I play roulette is have at last a million zack dollars and then I put 10k on black an 10k on 19through 26 and then I go to the board and I bet around 80k on all of the # from 19 to 26 and then maybe 20k on all of the other numbers, the most I have been up is like 12 million, but if you do it this way STOP when you are ahead

I just don't understand why everyone is so concerned with getting swimsuits on other girls, especially the Venus. It's like 1 guy did it now its everyones goal in the game.

Because from what I read the goal IS to get girls in swimsuits. Haven't you seen the commercial? It's pretty funny.

Yeah, not so much a volleyball game as everyone may have thought. It's all about getting every single item available.

What was the story with the GTA:VC thing?

It's two notes coming out in quck succession. Plus look at the portraits, there are three different ones based on their mood (unwilling, usual or confident). Depending on the mood, they'll play better and take the Venus. Got Hitomi to ake the Venus after many days of gifting and then partnering up with her and winning every match for a few days. She took it but it ruined her mood and she played like crap. So did I but I think it's because the Venus was so distracting.......

Well...I have officially become addicted to this little game. I finally scored a 7-0 game which is no small feat it seems. You really have to work on spiking the ball but once you have that down, the volleyball game actually gets a little easier. I still have only been able to block maybe 2 shots at most. Blocking is definitely the toughest skill of the volleyball part.

So...those out there still playing...any new insights or hints? I finally got over a million bucks but the Venus swimsuit never showed up. Another strange thing...Christie kept sending me gifts without me sending anything to her. I then decided to try to pair up with her and gave her a gift which she liked. She then turned me down as a partner after pursuing me for 4 days straight. What's up with that? Thong-wearing biddy!

I have pretty much stopped going to the pool and really just play volleyball all the time (and gamble some).I haven't read about any cheats pooping up yet though.

Just a little note of interest: My wife actually sat and watched me play this game for 2 hours straight today. My wife hates video games and usually leaves the room whenever I play them. But she sat there, telling me how to match a hair clip with a swimsuit and a hat, giving me tips on why I need to spike better, and giving her opinion on what cards to toss in 5 card draw poker. If you knew my wife you would understand how unnatural this is. This just does not happen.

A strategy that I've been using is this: when the other team spikes the ball, set it to your teammate, and run and get close to the net. One of the players on the other team will almost always try to block you if you're close to the net. Then just tap it over when they try to block. It works pretty well for me.






The Venus shows up on random days. Just keep checking every day, and it'll be there eventually.



I'm not sure why she was giving you gifts, but how many music notes were coming out of her picture? They won't except you as a teammate unless they have two rapid notes at a time. I think one more love gift and she would have probably excepted you.

brianluvdvd, are you playing as lisa, if you are play with tina, and this is what I did, i bought a blue visor, blue sandals, and blue nail polish, and then a blue volleyball and the sapphire jewel from ZOAT. and she accepted everything then I bought her the vnus on the 8th day of my vacataion and she accepted it.


has anyone bought every swimsuit for a certain character, I am trying to do this now, there is a total of 304 swimsuits to buy and 3 special swimsuits per character.

I don’t think anyone’s mentioned this so I’ll try:

If anyone’s having trouble getting that special suit on that special character, give this technique a try. I had read about it on another board, and to much of my surprise, it work the first (and only) time I tried.

1.) Play as the character that can buy the suit you want.

2.) Butter up the character you want that suit on for a few days, and give them the suit.

3.) When they undoubtedly throw it way that night, play through that next day and leave the island that night.

4.) Select that special character that threw that special suit away to play as.

5.) Start buttering the character who has that suit you wanted and they’ll (most of the time) give you that suit you wanted!

Apparently a lot of others have had success with this method as well.

Try copying and pasting the image onto a Microsoft Word document, and use the re-sizing tool to make it small enough to print out on one page.
