I was quite dissapointed to find out my local best Buy does not reduce their guides. I had a stack of stuff mentioned here.. and I took them up. The guy was price checking them and they were all 14.99. He said.. "Yeah we don't discount our Guides.. I knowother Best Buys do but we don't".. with a smug angrin on his 19 year old face, trying to sell me an MSN contract. I was quite upset.

well, i went to the king of prussia bb and picked up MGS substance, tekken 4 and nfl 2k3.

would have liked to pick up VF4 but they didn't have any. they still have lots of the other ones (except tekken 4 - i grabbed the last beat up copy).

the cashier and i were kind of laughing about how cheap they were... 3 cents... i have a quarter. keep the receipt in case you want to return them

the plymouth meeting best buy didn't seem to have any guides for a penny. the sales guy said they may have already junked them.

Heh, I remember getting Wrestlemania X8, Crazy Taxi 3 and NFL Fever 2003 back when Blade 2 came out to DVD (9/20/02 I think).

Hopefully I can Get Metroid Fusion and Yoshi's Island...

When I worked at EB, we did this too. I bought 127 Tekken 3 guides for $1.38 w/tax and sold them all on ebay for like $4 min, $15 max each...it was unreal. I did all the price changes each morning, so I snatched up EVERYTHING that was cheap. Ahh...those were the days...
