Here's a reply to an email i sent them 3 weeks ago:

We have heard that some consumers are experiencing issues with their disks
for Serious Sam XBOX.

In these cases the discs would cause users to experience EXTREME pauses in
loading game information (levels, textures, enemies and so on). These discs
will often fail to load, resulting in an error message telling you to
reinsert or clean your disc.

If you are experiencing this with your copy of Serious Sam, I suggest you
contact our customer service department in a manner listed below and they
will co-ordinate getting you a replacement copy.

Phone number: 1-800-211-6504

Too late though, as i traded Seriuos Sam for another game.....

Doesn't anyone find it disturbing that these issues never came up until the game went down to $9.99? It shows just how many people bought (or didn't buy) the game when it first came out...

Increased sales have become Gotham Games' worst nightmare...

Or that they know it is a problem and they are clearing the stock of bad discs... Not everyone will go thru the hassle of returns, etc, esp with that price.

Contacted Take 2 and was given the following instructions:

Send the game, case, and manual to:

Take 2 Interactive
Attn: Replacement
9900 Franklin Square Drive
Suite A
Baltimore, Maryland 21236

This is the same address as in the back of the game manual.

You can also request to be reimbursed for the shipping charges. Said it should take about 4 days to receive a new copy, I'm assuming from the day they receive it.
