65 - and all the levels went me to gointo the mysteries where I don't get my water pack - damn those levels are tough!!

Three of the ones I cant get by are those old school mystery ones. The Chucker pianta one, the secret shell one and the boo thing with the peppers.

120, I found all but 13 blue coins without a guide and then couldn't find the secret shines in the last world and on the beach without my brother's help (he looked in a guide).

My brother has 120 also.

What do you get for collecting all 120?

Ended up with 97. I keep meaning to go back and try for more, but I have too many other games to play.

That sucks.

I mean having Yoshi give you 120 lives after you've already done everything there is to do in Mario 64 was pretty lame and useless, but at least it's something.

At least I'm not missing anything.

Finished with 120 shines a few weeks before the US release. Had a friend ship a copy from Japan and I tore right through it ... unlike some I really had a lot of fun with Mario Sunshine.

Wow I got by all three of these last night. Guess I needed to get away from it for a while. 83 Shines now.

Is there any way to see how many blue coins you have for a certain world? I am missing 4 blue coins and it's driving me insane.

DVDKrayzie - just bring up the map screen (z button) and position the cursor over each level. It'll tell you how many blue coins you have for that level at the bottom of the screen.

There are 30 blue coins for each game level, 20 for Delfino Plaza, and 10 for Corona Mountain.

No way to tell which episodes your missing coins are on, though.

I just beat it. With 94 Shines. Thanks Tomwaits I had no idea the map gave that info. Im gonna have to check out how many of the blue coins Im missing now. I wont get all of the shines though. Getting Yoshi out to that little island and doing that jetski type level in 40 seconds are way too hard. Even if I managed to fnd all the blue coins Im not bothering with those.

Man I suck. I need to go back and redo all of this.

I finished all of the regular episodes and that was that. When I reached the Chuckster level a couple days ago I put the game on eBay. It wasn't that hard, it was just very little fun like most of the game IMO.

I did just acquire Super Monkey Ball and a Wavebird so I'm extremely satisfied at the moment.

Im done with it. Ive moved on (back to Buffy ). Ended up with 105.
