I have a friend who got Sudden Strike Gold and Allied Assault for Xmas.

He's a history buff and has had a blast playing them (esp. Sudden Strike). He's now curious whether any similar type games are available covering the World War I period.

Does anyone know of any they can recommend??

Except for some flying games and some serious war games I've never heard of any. I'ts kind of tough considering it was static trench warfare as opposed to WW2 being mobile.

This is a first-person shooted "loosely" based on World War I. Pretty good, but nothing compared to Medal of Honor.
