Ghost Recon or Splinter Cell

Okay, I have been thinking about getting either of these; Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon. I do not have XBOX Live yet but plan to get it in the month, love war games, and online titles. Graphics are important to me and I enjoy the stealth games (MGS: SOL was one of my favorite games). I just can't decide!?!? What do you think?

I played Ghost Recon on the PC and didn't care for it. The team based action isn't my bag. You mentioned that graphics are important. Splinter Cell may have the best graphics ever seen on the XBOX while the Ghost Recon's aren't too great.....

Here you go: get Splinter Cell until you get XBL, in the meantime, beat Splinter Cell, then trade it for Ghost Recon. GR has more of a replay value I would guess since you can play it online.

ghost recon's graphics are fine. Both these games rock but since you don't have live I suggest splinter cell. It is the best game out there but you can't go wrong with either one. I think Gallant started a thread about splinter cell being like $37.

Yeah it's around $30 when you factor in MSN money.

OK 22nd of December. I maxed out one of my household msn wallet accounts (ie got 100 bucks), and quickly filling up the other one, by doing all my christmas shopping using them, and having other people buy stuff through me using this as well!

Why not get both? If you can only get one, get Splinter Cell. Ghost Recon can wait until to you get X-Live.

I'm only 16 so my cash is a little limited (what with saving and all). Also is there a lot of lag for Ghost Recon on Live?

Here's a tip, download a demo to Ghost Recon for the PC so you can at least get a taste for what you can expect.

Or, even better, go buy an X-Box magazine that has the games on the demo disc... I'm sure finding Splinter Cell will be easy at least.

Ghost Recon was originally designed for the PC, so might lose a lot in the transition. Splinter Cell, however, was designed to work on both system (and other console systems too) despire the "Only On X-Box" tag.
