I loved Master of Orion (2) for PC and it seems it could port easily to GBA.

Are there any games LIKE this already on the system?

Not really, but that would be cool. There are some good turn-based strategy games on the GBA though, including Advanced Wars, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Tactics Ogre.

Isn't there a new version of this game coming to PC next year or am I imagining it?

Advanced Wars is similar, but without the open-endedness and diplomacy. MOO is a great game, I liked it a little bit more than MOO2. Interested to see how MOO3 comes out.

it would seem to go perfect on GBA because theres no intricate graphics necessary.

Have you guys played that space game for the Palm OS? I can't remember what it's called, but you fly around space and buy and sell stuff, and try and upgrade your ship. It's like a micro-version of MOO. Fun and addicting stuff.

Are you talking about Homeworld or Freespace? I totally want this kind of openended strategy building genre for GBA.
