Halo Question

I just picked up the exhibition disc for Xbox that has the Halo Demo(silent cartogropher). I was wondering can Halo be played in co-op mode entirely or do I have to finish the 1 player campaign to open up levels in the co-op mode.

It can be played co-op FROM THE BEGINNING. You don't have to do anything.

So everything done in co-op mode is saved? I read somewhere that you can't save in co-op mode that's why I'm asking. If I finish a level in co-op, I can come back and continue on to the next level later in co-op.

There is no saving in the middle of CO-OP levels, mid-level saving only works for campaigns (single player). If you've completed a level on either Co-op or campaign, you then have access to the next level at any difficulty you want.

So, if you're planning on playing Co-op, for some longer levels you need ot be prepared to be there fore several hours.

Don't worry... you can continue mid-level in co-op mode if you die, as long as one of the people is still alive. You only have to restart the level completely if both of you die. (if I remember correctly - can anyone confirm?)
