Almost every place I have been I have seen this same deal for X-box except it was $199. I have seen it at Circuit City, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.

I think this Costco deal has been out for a while now... The extras you get above and beyond the 199 deals other places have are the extra S Controller (some people incorrectly think that the normal bundle has two controllers because they say that it includes Controller S, not controllers) and the 30 dollar DVD kit. The DVD kit used to be free with a rebate, but that particular rebate doesn't work with the new 2 game Xbox bundle.

teddydogg, those bundles don't include the second controller or the DVD remote kit.

My bad.
I do think this is a great deal though I just wish I had a Costco near me . I will check Sam's club and see if they have the same deal. I will probably wait for the price drop

You can go to Costco.com, but if your not a member it's $45 to join. Good deal if you have a membership or a friend to buy it for you and have it shipped to you.

My local sales tax is 7.5%. Paying the non-member fee would be cheaper.

COSTCO:
Non-members will be charged a 5% surcharge over the member's posted product prices (except for prescription drugs and gift certificates). In accordance with applicable state and local laws, we are required to charge sales tax in localities where Costco has operations.
