Got my first one when the price dropped. The unit wouldn't eject the game disc. Took it back and got a replacement, no problems since. (knock wood)

Got the bundle 15 days ago. Put in Amped, said disk was bad. Took it out, looked at it, put it back in, & it played. Same thing happened w/ the SEGA 2 game disk. Other than that, working fine.
I wasn't going to do the $50 warranty, but after reading this stuff I'm wondering if........... Hmmmmm??
I'm past the 10 days it says on the MS card, could I still get it? I kinda figure I'll play it more this winter than the rest of the year & if it makes it 90 days well...? should be fine?
I'd like to know how many people have had problems after 2-3 months. This thread points to problems happening mostly right out of box. In turn, you take it back to the store, get a working one, & then spend another $50 on a warranty. & MS had to do nothing except make a whole bunch of us feel like we need $50 warrantys. Sounds like a decent business plan.
