Does anybody know of anyplace only that you can download game manuals? I made the mistake of picking up a previously played game and I have no idea how to play it.

you can do a google search. there are some (shady) sites that have manuals.
if it's a Square game, you can download many of the manuals at their site. http://www.squaresoft.com/ under downloads (need to register)
