Yeah, I stopped last night after Toy's R Us did not have my pre-paid preorder. Went to Target and only the PS2 had the sale sign, but the Xbox version did ring up $39.99 too. They had it in stock for all 3 systems glad I didn't see any at BB otherwise I would have had to return it.

From what I heard at EB the Xbox version has a bit better graphics (as expected), but all three versions are very simular. The PS2 version has LAN play were you can hook up multiple PS2 consoles together.
Didn't get a chance to play it for myself though. Some kids had the Xbox tied up playing it.

At this point, the three versions of the game are all pretty much identical in terms of visuals. While the character models and overall presentation of the games are similar, the Xbox version does enjoy much clearer textures than it's PlayStation 2 counterpart. But if you were to put it side by side with the GameCube version, even the sharpest eye would be hard pressed to find any difference between the two.

I'm pretty sure the Xbox version has that as well, I read a post on another board from someone who had been playing TS2 online with the Xbox. I haven't tried it but it sounded like you connect the same way you do with Halo.

GameCube doesn't have this option, other than that all three versions look about the same. No one got cheated by a bad port on this game unlike other games (Need for Speed 2 for one) so thats a good thing.

Picked up the Xbox edition earlier, graphics are pretty underwelming and the story mode is pretty stale, but everything else is pretty much great thus far (Arcade, Challenege, and Multiplayer are a blast.)
Thanks for the heads up.

Hey, anyone know anything about Assault mode? I'm on the 10 minute mission where it says "Sieze the middle ground" (Arcade Mode) and, well, I've spent 60 minutes killing and doing everything imagineable and still haven't figured it out.
What the hell am I supposed to do? making me insane!

I think It may have been a pricing error in their computer, the employee I talked to at Target said it wasn't supposed to ring up at $39.99 only the PS2 version. I had to argue with him to give it to me at the price it rang up. So they may have fixed it now.
