Chobits is an manga/anime series by Clamp. It's about a world where many people have personal computers called Persocons that are in the form of females. Good series.

Hey McHawk, I never knew that about you, being hearing impaired. Makes me more curious about the lady you were dating from Mexico City! Did you both know the same sign language (they don't speak "Spanish sign language"?)? I guess that's getting OT. I wish more games could accomdate all sorts of gamers. Maybe someone could develop an addon that did CC for games or something.

I don't know everything about it, but I know there's at least a couple of standard sign languages in the US... I'm unsure of the name of them, but I think ASL is one. Anyway - one of them has really weird sentence structure. Like - "To zoo I'm going." or something like that. The other one has sentence structure that's the same as it is in English. As for the words - I think the sign for zoo in spanish and the sign for zoo in english is the same. So I'm thinking they could communicate pretty well. Sign language is a language just like Spanish is a language and English is a language... so it's my understanding that it's pretty universal. I could be wrong though.

I've never stroked to an anime or a video game, but I played through Seaman on the Dreamcast and liked it alot - this is basically the same thing, but better and we get to look at a pretty girl instead of a fish toad thing. Look - if it's not something you're interested in, go crap elsewhere... why don't you go into the Zelda thread and accuse everyone there of jerking to Link instead - child porn is much more controversial.

Update - it's been out for a little while I guess... in Japan anyway.
Kinda disappointing, but it doesn't look like it'll get released in the US. We'll see. I hope it does.
