Hm... If anyone needs anything from me...

I have:

Fruit: Oranges
Games: Excite Bike and Golf
Odd Items: Bug Zapper, Merge Left Sign, Moon Rover, Bonsai Tree

I think that's about it of interest. Not sure what pitfalls are, but I have two. They aren't showing in my catalog though so not sure I'd wanna trade them just yet.

Name: Melora
Town: Potidaea

Zig, I want the Soda Machine. I can order either Golf or DK JR. Math, your choice.

Scheh, I will trade you DK JR. Math for Excitebike...

For those of you that have enough memory cards to create another town, I came up with an idea today.

Create a town called "DVD Talk", and name one of the townspeople "Geoff". Ta da, we have now created a trade ring that will be very helpful for some of the rarer items (especially NES games). When you get an item, send it to Geoff in DVD Talk, and you can post the code here, as well as use it to retreive the item in your other town. Note that you cannot send insects or fish by mail.

For those of you who think this is cheating, don't participate

Aghama, Its not really cheating, its just boring.

Zig, how long till it comes in, 1 day? If so, I can send you an extra DK JR Math tomorrow, since Nook is closed for remodeling.

Keyser Soze: I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a copy of Donkey Kong. Check the link in my signature to see what I have.

zig: If possible, I'd like to get one of those vending machines. Check my signature link to see what I have to trade.

Let me know. Thanks!

I can understand how you feel, seeing as you just got the game and all. But collecting all the NES games is pretty damn tedious, considering how few chances you have to get them in game. On the other hand, the fact that you can order items to trade makes it a little better.

Scheh, very cool! Too bad I can't input that code till he opens :-(
I am thinking about putting a good trade/bad trader list in this tread as well. If you complete a trade with someone, just reply and say who it was, and we can build up some feedback? Would anyone be interested in doing this, or is this just a stupid idea?

Did you ever get that cherry that I sent you? I tried sending it to your email, but it said the address didn't exist - so I just posted it here. Let me know if it worked. If not, I'll try getting the code again.

Bartley, I did get it :-) I will be sending you an Apple very shortly.
Scheh, Yeah, I think a feedback would be good, and I might start that when we get to Thread 2 (I'll start it when we reach 200 pages, which shouldnt be more than a week, heh).

Remember, K.K. Slider is going to be in town tonight from 8PM till midnight. Be sure to talk to him and get another tune for your stereo!

Mm, the thing about a trader list is that if somebody just copies down a character incorrectly, they'll be blacklisted. I already screwed up twice with Bartley.

Yeah, and sometimes I just enter them wrong. Looking at that mix of letter/number/symbols taxes my mind for some reason. I don't mind not getting anything sometimes, actually. Most of the items don't cost that much, so it's not like I'm out an enormous amount of money. Plus, it's nice that this thread has mature participants. I've tried going through the IGN threads, and it's just about as bad as trying to play a cooperative game online...

I updated my original post (link in signature) to include some songs to ask K.K. to play for you. Just for fun, I also added the tunes that I've put up as my "theme". It's hard to work without sharps and flats!

Tom Nook's Remodeling

Just wanted to let you know that my Tom Nook store will be closed on Sept. 22 (actual "real-time" calendar date). Apparently he's expanding and remodeling.

When I started my game I swapped the AM/PM. (Mainly b/c I am able to play the game at night.

So right now it's 9:20am on the 21st for me (game time).

I guess I could do that, but then I'd have to adjust it back again sometime... I have a second town that in which I swapped the AM/PM time. I mainly use that to "scavenge" for fruit and foreign fish/insicts.
