*The Official Animal Crossing Trading Ring*

This thread is here for the trading of items in the Nintendo GameCube game, Animal Crossing. If you are unfamiliar with the game, please visit www.nextstopac.com . Here is how to send items to other users.

*
1. Going to Tom Nooks store and selecting " Type in a Code".

2. Tom Nook will ask for the Players name and Village. Type it in, and select the item to be traded.

3. You will receive a long code. Give it to the player of the other village.

4. That player would (well, should) send you something in return

Also, you can NOT send Bells (cash). You can send items and SELL them to Tom Nook, but you can't send actual Bells.
*

Post below if there are certain items you want, and certain items you have for trade. Be sure to include your Players name and Village name so the transaction can be completed. Please make all deals through e-mails, use this thread only as a way to find other users who have stuff you want, or need something off of you.

The code you should receive should look something like..

Balloon Fight for Gizmo in Mogwai
ueRI%#Gh9Qjzdk
cml8bhJcw3x7lr

Thats the item scrambled up. All you do is write it down, and e-mail it to the player (or post the code here, he is the only one who can use it)

DVDTalk is not responsible for any bad trades, or false senders.

(I beleive that is enough, any suggestions/comments on this?)

I searched everywhere today and couldn't find it. Half the stores I talked to said they hadn't even heard of it. I will be able to purchase it tomorrow though.

I got a coupon to get a free rental of this if I rent a GCN game. Looks like I'll have to try it out. Anyone know if BB is also renting out he memory card?

No, they are only renting out the game itself.

What's the story with the memory card? Does it require a special one?

No, but it comes with one that includes a "gift."

If I trade something, does that mean I lose it in my game? Or is it like copying?

This is a new concept to me. If the GC is not online, how does it know somebody took your item? I'm a little confused with this concept, I'm gonna try to read up on it elsewhere. Sounds neat, though.

Cray-zay.

Sounds cool.

Is there a complete list anywhere of the NES games that one may acquire?

So, let me get this straight: You buy the game. It comes with a memory card. On the memory card is 2 random NES games you can earn. You do something in the game, and earn the NES games. Nintendo actually sends these 2 NES games in the mail along with a letter than the Nintendo president and a grabbag. Is this correct? Whatever is going on, it's a neat concept. And.....are the NES games emulated on GC or actual old school cartridges?

Here's how it works:

You give your item to Tom Nook and give him the Name of the person and the Town they live in. The item is destroyed in your game, and Tom gives you a code that is only usable by the other person. If they use it, they get your item.

You get the initial two NES games through the in-game mail system.

Once you generate the code for the item you're giving away, the item is gone from your inventory. Your game doesn't care if anyone uses the code or not. I wonder how long it will be before someone cracks it and creates a code generator.

The Mail is simply the Mail in the game... like Harvest Moon. If you send an item to someone you lose it. You get a special code which you give to whomever you are trading with, they type it in, and they get the item.

The complete NES Game List is..
Clu Clu Land
Clu Clu Land disk version
Balloon Fight
Baseball
Tennis
Golf
Pinball
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Junior
Donkey Kong Junior Math
Donkey Kong 3
Mahjong
Gomoku Narabe
* Mario Brothers
* Super Mario Brothers
* Ice Climbers
* Wario's Woods

* means available through E-Cards... Zelda is STILL a possibility...

for the NES games that are only available through the E reader, you can't play those in AC, correct?

I have Apples!!!! I also have a Rocket if anyone needs THAT! I really want other fruit, and any Vending Machine and.or NES games. I havn't opened my grab bag, so I'm not sure what NES Games I have yet.

If anyone wants to send me some fruit, my player name is Gizmo, and I am from the town of Mogwai. I will send an Apple to anyone here who needs it. Just reply with your player name and town, and I will get an apple to you right away!
