I'll admit that I usually don't get mine until after the 3rd or 4th day of the month, but for some reason I got both my OXM and GameInformer early on the 28th. Maybe because of the holiday.

This months mag and disc is the most disappointing so far. All repeats on the demos side and overall lacking in content. The only thing I cared for was the No Doubt interview for Malice. Anyone who mentions that they had an intellivision is cool! Malice actually looks fun.

As for the mag nothing really stands out. I think a holiday games preview mega issue is due. Given the lack of material in this isssue they better have that as an excuse.

This mag reminds me so much of the Official Dreamcast magazine. Features hinted at being added to the disc that never were. Stale demos from games months old. New game demos from games not worth playing.

All this mag is missing is Sega Swirl on every disc. Wait they already have the DOA bonus pack on every disc.

Terrible magazine and the discs just weren't worth it for me. I couldn't cancel my subscription fast enough.

I just got mine in yesterday unusually late!?! I must also join the crowd & agree that this is the poorest demo disc yet.

But did anyone of you look at the small caption at the bottom of page #126? It stated: "MAKE GOOD: We realize that subscribers have played many of these demos and we promise a huge batch of new demos for next issue as a way of thanking you for being patient. You're the best. XOXO."

So hopefully they will make good on that promise. This issue seemed kinda of rushed. Only one page of letters & old demos. The reviews were shorter than usual & some of the news was reported in the last issue. Either they are running out of money or are working on something else?!?

Either way, I renewed my subscription for another year. I like getting the demos & there is normally at least one I want to play on every disc. I don't have time for 2 or 3 other magazines that include other games systems' stuff that I don't even own.

They apoligized for this disc being not what was promised and they promised that next month would see a packed disc with all new stuff. I say give them another chance...

That Lotus game looks like complete crap.

I gave the Timesplitters 2 game another chance and I still think it sucks.

Have had mine for a week and just noticed that they reduced the outer dimensions of the mag to normal magazine size. Maybe they're cutting costs to get better disc media.

You're right - I didn't notice that either - that's gonna be annoying when I go to stack them up.

My demo disc is full of audio glitches. The No Doubt thing goes out of sync about a minute into the thing. The Hunder demo makes funny sounds, as if the music is trying to play, and sometimes the gun shot sound effects are delayed. Maybe it's the Doppler effect. : )

Good thing there's nothing good on the disc or I'd be upset.

Hey, where's the DOA3 add-on pack? I was getting used to it, kinda like a friendly old pair of underwear.

Mine was bad like that too - I boiled it and it works perfectly now.
