OXM # 11, Anyone get theirs yet?
 

And if so, what is on the demo disk? My demo disk # 10 was defective! ( I was very sad ) so I wrote for the replacement disk. A few days later, I get an e-mail from OXM telling me that they made a bad batch of disk and would not be able to replace it! To make a long story short, they said that if I mailed the defective disk back, they would cut me a check for 10$....cool, eh. So I look at it as if my subscripttion cost 12.95 instead of 24.95..........But I ain't got no check yet..........STAY TUNED

Wasnt in my mailbox today. :(

You've got to be kidding! No Halo 2 trailer? I thought for sure they would have the exclusive on that one considering it will be released on the net in a few days. Looks like the Sega GT 2002 demo is missing as well. If true, this is definitely one of the more disappointing discs...

Yeah - what the hell? They promised a Sega GT demo. They also mentioned a Minority Report something or other... It said so on the back page of last month's issue. I'm bummed. Why Timesplitters 2 again? Last month's demo blew. The rest is all old sh**. Argh. Thanks for the info though.

Hmm, how come they always miss demos of what I want to try? Such as Enlave and Dead to Rights *grumble*

Hmmm. Looks like I can skip this issue already played TIMESPLITTERS 2 from the last one. The only thing that remotely peaks my interest is the FIRST LOOK of SPLINTER CELL the E3 footage I've seen of this game is awesome it's already in my "must buy" column.<BR>
But it looks like they got one thing right they dropped the DOA expansion <U>finally</U>

I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription. The demo disc is the ONLY thing this magazine has going for it, and they're consistantly dropping the ball with that.

You'd think the proud 'Official' magazine could put SOMETHING new on their demo discs.

Maybe that's the "I feel like I missed something but I do not know what it is. It must not be important." kar10 mentioned. I'm sure it's there. :)

Isn't their tagline "Official, Playable, First" yeah first to recycle the same ole' demos from months ago. Thought about renewing, but after this tore up the renewel check. What an awful demo disc!

I hope youre using the fact that none of us got this yet to have a little fun at our expense.

I got the demo and everything I said is true. I don't play like that!

I got mine on the 26th. No big deal since most of the demos are older games.

They are liars then - cuz they said Sega GT 2002 was gonna be on this disc. I'm gonna sue them.

I'm glad I cancelled my subscription. I almost kept it going one more month for the Sega GT demo, but I guess I didn't miss anything.

Anyone else get the 2 year renewal card with there issue? I mean sheesh!!! I've only had subscription since May and now they're trying to get me for another 2 years?!!

I too am a little PO'd at them dangling the carrot in our faces and not coming through with Segs GT on the #11 discs.

I've had nothing but problems out of the OXM Demo discs freezing and what not since they started putting the DOA3 booster pack in it. Since I've tried them on other Xboxes and they've done the same thing, I feel that they're using the cheapest discs they can find. If they don't get it corrected they won't get another dime from me.

This #11 disc has worked better than the others but has occasional freeze ups.

All of my Demos had worked just fine. I never had a problem with any of them.

I never had a problem with the demos either. I haven't received my issue yet though. I usually received it around the 24th of the month the last 2 months they have been coming later and later.

Got it today and the disc doesn't work. :D

My 2 cents, I am married with children! So I get my game play in after the whole house is asleep :) I do not have many games, so the demo disk is a treat for me! I do like it when my brother-in-laws come over and we play 4-man HALO allnight.....Asome game!

Has anyone else besides me, not get the new issue yet?

Still havent gotten mine either.
