I am torn
I cashed in on the EB Games deal and got a gamecube but I am thinking about taking it back and getting the PS2. Not sure what one to get. HELP!!!
PS2
Cheaper used games
Final Fantasy games and it will play my PS1 games. 1 less console that I will have laying around the TV
GAMECUBE
Metroid, Rouge Leader 2 and Jango Fett Bounty Hunter.
Any ideas?

Can you still trade in an old console plus 10 games at EB and get $100 off a new console? If so you could trade in your PSX plus 10 games you don't really want and get a $100 off a new PS2. Problem solved.

The GameCube makes a great second (or third) console.... but the PS2 is where it is at. I have all three and my PS2 sees WAY WAY WAY more action than my GC and Xbox combined.
They may look prettier and have a few key games, but for overall selection and gameplay quality the PS2 is superior. Sure only 10-20% of the games (or less) for the PS2 are A+ quality, but that still means 2-3 times as many as GC or Xbox. If it wasn't for Sega on Xbox and Mario Sunshine I would have kicked both my Xbox and GC to the curb months ago.
