Nudity for Money or Content?

The next installment in the Dave Mirra franchise (Dave Mirra XXX) will feature mini-games which reward winning with real DVD movie clips of strippers (from Scores no less). Here is the quote...

You heard it right. In a drastically different approach from the previous two games, the next title will be as dirty as a game can get. Mini-games that involve stripping and wardrobe removal, snotty-nosed brats urinating in public pools, senseless automobile accidents that destroy everything in its path, and unlockable bonuses that include DVD-quality full-motion video of real life Scores stripper girls. And when they strip... they strip! Not readily available in the E3 version, actual shots of T&A was not available in the demo for the show floor but was assured to us that by ship time, players who do well will be rewarded with real-life strip shows where everything comes off.
The question I put to you is this: is this for content (i.e. do you think it adds to the game) or is this for money (i.e. horny teenagers and adult males to scared to purchase porn)? As a gamer, I am used to being rewarded with new clothes or bikes, but this.... I... I just don't know.

What does Scores and nudity have to do with biking? I haven't the slightest idea, but I know that I will probably buy into the gimmick anyway. I fall hook, line, and sinker for anything that may cause a little controversy (a cute squirrel in a lush green environment cussing up a storm, anyone?).

P.S. I'm neither a horny teen nor an adult that is scared to buy porn!

Obviously, they're trying to increase the realism of the game. I mean, everybody knows men who ride bicycles for a living spend a lot of time at strip clubs.

I guess they're trying to be something different than Tony Hawk on a bike. I suspect this ploy will sell some games, but not to me. I'm curious to see if it gets an AO rating, though. If it does, their ploy will probably backfire, because stores won't carry the game.

It seems to me that they are playing off the success of the GTA3 controversy. People love pushing the envelope.

Oh, I almost forgot.......MONEY MONEY MONEY!!

be very interesting if it does get an AO rating and still does well.

that could open all sorts of doors...
