Shoot...I would have traded you GS for Fire Pro and Fortress. I got my copy of GS when the game first came out, played it for eight hours straight and never picked it up again. I'm not a fan of the dijin system and the puzzles seem overly ambiguous to me. I've always been picky with RPGS though.

Your friends have to help you make the courses easier. It's a bit of puzzle-solving. Make sure you pick up the health items. Once you are able to make it to the center of the ring first, pick up the top-most item. It is always the best. The battles are somewhat difficult (nothing compared to later battles like the pirate on Crossbone Island), but if you use your djinn wisely and make sure to keep yourself healed you shouldn't have too much trouble.

Personally, I thought this was one of the most clever parts of the game and really enjoyed it.

I think the only boss I have had a hard time on was that whirlwind boss at the end of the desert *after* the collosium. Colloso was quite easy IMHO, one thing that should help against those people is using smoke bomb, ragnarok and summons. When you get low on HP just use nuts and Cure Well. What level are you at btw?

They only funk you up because you are using them in battle, which unsets them from your character so any moves you may have learned get lost until they come back.

It was at first for me, but once you get used to it it's ok. I still have a hard time trying to determine by trading which djinn are good for which characters... personally i think mia sucks... the only thing she is good for is healing.

You do have the code to change the other characters' names, right?

Nah, I don't care about changing their names. I just think Mia is one of the most useless characters I have ever used in an RPG. She can only take 1 kind of Djinn and only has like 1 or 2 spells that I use, plus she doesn't take damage very well and tends to die a lot.
