Funny bit of trivia for Futurama and FFX fans

Just checked this out on IMDB:

The voice of Wakka from Final Fantasy X, John Di Maggio, is also the voice of Bender, the alcoholic robot, from Futurama.

I always thought his voice was familiar, but little did I know he was a womanizing, boozing, and verbally abusing robot!

There are a lot of famous voice actors in X...

Power Puff Girl "Bubbles" also plays Rikku (Tara Strong).

Also a lot of the "Tenchi Muyo" voice actors are in there.

Cree Summer has a small part in there as the summoner Belgemine. What animation in there that she's not had a hand in?

Yeah, I noticed this too when I was looking through the booklet in FFX at the voice actors. John DiMaggio gets alot of voice work nowadays aparently.

That was pretty surprising. Even more surprising to me though is that Hedy Burress (who played Anthony Clark or Boyd's sister named Wyleen on Boston Common) is the voice for Yuna. Don't sound at all alike to me...so I guess she's pretty talented

Maybe talented at disguising her voice, but not at acting well while doing it.

Hey now, hey now. Watch it there; I can't stand for Tiger slander. I went to the same high school as Yuna (Hedy Burress.) GO TIGERS!
