Legend of Celda?
Ok I don't know what to make of this new Zelda GC game....Do I like it? Do I hate it? Just don't know yet.
This new technology of Cel Shading seems to be very awesome, but maybe it's not fit for Zelda?
Wouldn't it be cool to see some Cartoon Video using Cel Shading? Batman would be awesome if it utilized Cel Shading. But Zelda....hmmmmm I still am cautious about this new jump.
So what do you guys think? Will you be buying it?

From what I've seen of the gameplay, it looks like a throwback to the SNES game: Link to the Past. I don't really think they can go wrong, the change doesn't matter much to me. I think it may have been for the better.

The release of this game will signify the day I purchase a Gamecube. I think the look is great, very reminiscent of the cartoon quality of the original Zelda. Too many fanboys thinking that "mature" = "cool". It's Zelda, and I'm sure it will rock.

I don't care what it looks like, the gameplay will be awesome. Anyways, I'm sure Nintendo is doing this for a reason. I suspect it will really add a lot to the game.

From what I've read, the game won't be anything like the N64 games, right? I think that's great...all the new adventure games are the same thing, 3rd person perspective with a roving camera, of which I'm getting pretty tired.
Are there any screenshots or trailer of the game?

I voted wait and see, because all I know about this game for sure is that the graphics are cel-shaded. As I said many times in the past, graphics mean nothing to me. I don't care if a game has great, technically brilliant graphics, or plain outdated graphics as long as the graphics don't have glitches like slow down that effects the game play. The gameplay is all I care about, and if this plays like Zelda games usually do, I'll definitely pick it up and it will likely become one of my all time favorites. If they simplfy the gameplay to go with the new kiddie look, then I'll pass. However, I'd be shocked if this was anything other than the same great Zelda gameplay that we've grown up loving, just with a new look.

I agree, its the gameplay that makes games awesome. The new look was really weird to me at first but those are just early shots, the game isn't done yet. I remember when Zelda: OoT was coming out they changed Link's character model around 12 times and his face even more. I like the cartoon type look to it though.
It looks like it plays like the GBC and SNES versions of zelda but with a targeting system so it looks pretty sweet! Not sure if he'll be a kid, it looks like he's the same age he was in Zelda: A Link to the Past on the SNES. But we don't know the story of this game so its anyones guess.

It's "wait and see" for me. I'm not a big fan of the cel shading and I especially dislike the new look of Link himself. But if the game itself is anywhere near as good as Ocarina of Time or Link to the Past, I'm sure I'll be adding it to my collection.

But I suspect it will be good. Like I told my wife..... I have my PS2 for the 3rd party games.... and my Gamecube for the most kick-butt first party games around.

I was shocked by the look at first, but I'm still betting it will be an amazing game. As long as there is no repeating the same things over and over like Majora's Mask I will be happy.
