Ok, I realize MSNBC and USA Today aren't top notch gaming magazines, but what other games did they play? I mean good grief, DAoC had pretty good graphics, but the gameplay outside of tradeskills, which I never got around to trying, wasn't nearly as good as Asheron's Call. Nearly everyone I've talked to says the PvP still sucks as well. Seriously, what are these reviewers smoking?

It remains the fastest growing MMORPG to date, having vaulted past Microsoft’s Asheron’s Call and into the number three spot among US based MMORPGs in terms of peak concurrent players gaining quickly on Sony’s Everquest and EA’s Ultima Online.
I like the game and left AC after two years to play Camelot. Yes there are some issues but not nearly as bad as dealing with the monthly nonsense that was the Zone and Turbine.
The game is very stable and offers people alot of variety. Some choose to overlook what is there in favor of the RvR aspect. I feel that is their loss.
