universal S-video cable
I came across this $10 cable at Wal-mart. It's made by Mad Catz and it's a S-video cable for Dreamcast, N64, Playstation, PS2, and Gamecube. It's a great idea for those of us who have more than one game console.

I have this as well. So I assume you can use it with more than once console at the same time? What happens if you have 2 of them turned on at once?
It should come in handy when I eventually get an xbox to compliment my PS2

Xbox: Damn PS2, you are lookin' fiiiiine tonight.
That's a compliment. You probably want an Xbox to complement your PS2.
I know, I'm being an ass, but it's my favorite misspelling. I try to take advantage of it when I can.

if you have it pluged into more then one unit and even if the other are off, my picture became very dark wehn it was pluged into 2. It was almost un viewable when pluged into 3... I bought mine from Frys. It was the gold pro version, and its by Pelican. LMK about the others. Target has one as well.

So those of you that have this: Is it worth getting?
Say I only hook up one console at a time and switch the cable to my other systems when I play those so the picture quality won't decrease? Is that the best way to use this thing?

I just bought this one because I needed an svideo hookup and it's the only one I could find. Why they didnt just add an svideo connector on the default cable, I dont know.
