Wizards & Warriors (NES)

Anyone remember Wizards and Warriors for the NES? That game kicked @$$! It was one of my favorites.

Anyonw know if we will ever see a new one on say Gamecube or anything? Sort of like we did with Gauntlet - when Gauntlet Legends came out I almost freaked. Gauntlet on the NES kicked too

That would kick some serious ***. You never know, they re-did Ghouls and Ghosts for PS2... it's called Maximo...

Ah Wizards and Warriors.

No save game on that right? I was playing it at my grandparents house one summer. I had been playing non-stop for hours, I was very close to the end. Things were looking good.

Then, because my parents were remodeling their bathroom, the power went out.

I don't think I've ever been as mad as I was at that moment

Hahaha, I've got similar stories.
Hence, the invention of putting a battery in the cartridge and the annoying 25-character passwords to reload your game became a thing of the past.

Wizards and Warriors rock!!

If you like the game you will love this excellent guitar arrangement by the one and only Minibosses, it kicks some serious ***!!

You can find it here:
Wizards and Warriors mp3

and the main page is at www.minibosses.com

The intro is pretty cool, but I really like the part about 0:59 into the song, which is the music in the first stage where your jumping from tree to tree, ahhh the memories of making it to the top of the forest....only falling all the way to the bottom on the last jump .

What? What? There is a Wizards and Warriors game for Dreamcast??? AND I do not mean the same one as the PC game that was released called Wizards and Warriors that has nothing to do with the original series (same title , different game).

Explain please!

Eternia check out http://www.dcemulation.com
I think the X-Box is in the process, if not already, being able to play emulators on it.

If you want a quick fix you could always play it on the pc, and yes I'm talking about the NES version. If you want I could email what you need to play on the pc. Altough its not the same as playing on the console.

oops. Yeah that would be pretty cool if they remade it. They'll probably make it a FPS like with metriod.

No you are thinking about the dude in Ghouls and Ghosts.

You always have your armor in Wizards and Warriors.
