Playstation Help please!!!

My 10 year old nephew just got a couple of Japanese games (I think DragonBallz but not sure) for his Playstation. The games require a "boot disk", a "mod chip" or a "goldfinger".

Do you guys know what it means, where one gets those and how to get those games to work? (I really don't know much about video games, so some instructions would be gretly appreciated)

Thanks in advance

modchip

jap games can't be played on a us system. you'll have to put a mod chip in, which voids the warenty, and not esactly easy if you don't know what your doing.

you might wanna buy a psx already modded

bootdisk?

You can also buy an Action Replay if you have a serial port on your PSX. I'm not sure where to buy one, as the local game store here sells them. If it means that much to you, you can always call them, give them a credit card number and have it shipped to you.

The best thing is, the AR doesn't require any kind of soldering and is easily reversable.
