Any success burning music to your XBOX with CDRW media?
Just want to know what brand of CDRW you're using. It can be done, but I'm not sure if all brands will work.
I've got lots of mp3's I want to dump into the XBOX harddrive.

Every CDR or DCRW i've dropped in the X-Box does not detect it . I use Verbatim CDR and Memorex CDRW , I havent seen a post on any site that anyone has had sucess ripping to the X-Box with a CDR or CDRW .

1) Burned onto CDRW media; and,
2) in the .cda extension, meaning it is just like any ordinary music CD. It can't be .mp3 or .wma.
I think I'll pick up a CDRW tomorrow and try it myself. I just hope all brands work.

It works on a MEMOREX CDRW with the dark bluish color dye.
I successfully dumped about 1.4Gb of music into the XBOX HD. Keep in mind, however, that the mp3's must be converted to .cda which take up considerably more space than it does in it's .mp3 format.
Once in the XBOX, they're labeled as Track 1, Track 2, etc.
You can go in using the XBOX dashboard to rename those files as you please.
