IS nba live 2002 gonna be any good im kinda of scared of buying it, last years version was the worst bball game i have ever played.
Has anyone played it yet.

Vast improvements have been made to Live 2002. I suggest you rent it first. It comes out later this week I believe.
NBA 2k2's release date is hazy. I've read like three different dates so I dont know.

Gamespot gave it a 7.7 I think that I'm going to pick up NBA2K2 for dreamcast since the PS2 version is so far out, at least Feb. Hopefully Amazon will let me change it.

The new 2002 version is extremely better than the 2001 version! The 2001 game was the worst ever! The new 2002 version has much smoother game play with a very nice looking picture. When playing it, it again feels like the NBA Live we've all grown to love.

I heard it wasn't much improved from last year's abdomination, but I haven't played it. And damn nba2k2 doesn't come out until February? I don't want to wait 4 months for a basketball game, so I will probably at least rent nba live 02
