I just watched the mini-cd by Nintendo--I was skeptical before I saw this--I was going to wait until January to get any games I thought would be good-- not now. I just watched Rogue Squadron, Sup Smash Bros., and Star Fox--I'm in love. You have to see the visuals to belive them--higher than anything I've seen so far, and they weren't all FMV's! FMV's were very beautiful, much like PS2, but the in-game cutscenes--Just as beautiful as the FMV's, I could see little or no difference between the gorgeous FMV's and the game play. I'm getting these games on launch!!!!!!!! You have to see it to believe it. I tell you now--stop reading this and go get the cd--you won't regret it.

Well, I hate to burst your excitement, but the only one of those you'll be getting at launch is Rogue Squadron 2. Smash Brothers comes out in December, and Star Fox is some way off.

Thats enough incentive for me.

At least Nintendo Power, the internet, and the cd will keep me going until then--I waited this long for GCn, I can wait a little longer----just a bummer about zelda . . .

I got one yesterday. I loved the Tony Hawk 3 video. Definitely getting Rouge 2 on launch.

Star fox didn't look that great to me. I wonder if they showed an older version? Some of the models and textures looked like n64 quality.

I got mine at Toys R US, but I saw them at EB too.

You can get it with a NP subscription, with an NP magazine off the rack, or at most electronics stores--Babbages, EB, etc . . .

I finally got this disk today, can't wait to play these games, especially Wave Race and Smash Bros. Until I saw this video I had no idea that Sheik was in the this game. , He* was one of my favorites from Ocarina of Time , looks awesome!!

for those that got the cd in the mail. the GCN mailer it came in; thats not the actual size of the game cube is it. and are the games going to be the size of the cd?

i think that is how big the cds actually are
becasue there was a brochure along with the cd and it had the actual size of the cd and it matched the cd that came in the gamecube thingy

and i think the gamecube is aobut as big as the mailer!
