Honestly I have no clue...I haven't taken the Easy way out. DMC makes me feel like I did when I played games like the Mega Man series...sure I would die, but damn I had fun trying to figure out how to beat the bosses.

From my understanding of Easy, the enemies are less tough (duh!), if you keep swinging the sword you do special moves without the button combos and you have rapid fire capability with the guns (i.e. you don't have to press fire every time to fire them). Those are just 3 things that are different in Easy from my understanding.

Maybe I will go to EB, buy it, see how I like it and if I don't like it I will bring it back within 10 days for a full refund.

I forgot to say in DMC, I am only in the 4th mission. I'm taking my time with the game and my shoulder and neck got hurt while sleeping on a fold-out bed at a resort this past weekend, so my game playing ability has been hindered, although I did play last night.

Wow.....just got the game today and played for over 4 hours.

I love it. I was kinda nervous about how had it was but it's great. The only thing I hate is having to rum around to collect orbs to power up. I did that for a bit and really got some good stuff.

I agree that Infrit sucks. It's way too slow. As I pound away on a baddie....the rest come up behind me.

I don't care for the shotgun either. I know it's powerful but too slow for my tastes. Asd I just got the grenade gun but haven't tried it out yet. I have to take a break cause my heart is racing and my hands are sore. A true sign of a good game.

Oh....and does anybody else feel the the story isn't really unfolding very fast? I mean....i forget what level I'm at but that chick has only appeared 1 time since I started. I figured she'd be a larger part of the game.

Anyway....it's is certainly worth the cash. As far as replay it'll be nice going back again and seeing how much I can improve. Some of my rankings have really sucked but I rocked on the others.

Ifrit is too slow? Get the kick upgrade and now you have a quick attack. Plus the arial attack is great. Stop the Ifrit hatin'!

Just started playing Devil May Cry today. I'm getting the hang of the controls. But man, that spider is pretty mean. I saw what Dante did to it in the demo, and that looked pretty sweet. I feel like I'm outta practice in these type of games... I've been playing a lot of FPSs and RPGs. Kinda wish GTA3 would get here already... I know, I'm impatient.

Hey, just got Devil May Cry on Friday, played it and its Da BOMB! I knew this game would be good but damn, its crazy! I love the moves and the opening sequence with him blasting the motorcycle with his guns was nice!!! Anyway, its kinda hard, you know whats funny, i bought it at the Virgin Megastore and it came with a Free Strategy Guide, now i know why.

I'll have to do that this time thru the game. After I beat it I figured that I'll play it again with all the awesome weapons and kick some a$$.

Such a good game even if the story is a tad weak.
