Question for whomever has Max Payne.

Do you think Max Payne will run well on my pc? I have a: P III 500MHz, Voodoo 3 2000, 128 MB RAM, 19 GB HD, DVD-ROM/CD-ROM.

Think it will run well?

Should run allright - not great, but good enough. NOLF should choke your system before this game does.

So all somebody needs to do now is mod in the John Woo trademark doves, and we're set

For those of you who don't have it yet (like me), today's Best Buy ad shows it for $34.99. If you don't have a Best Buy near you, you can always order it from BestBuy.com, they've lowered the price there too. I'll be at the door today as they open.

Also, either Circuit City or CompUSA has it this week for $34.99, too......

Ok, this is kinda completely unrelated, but I'm stuck in a spot in the game. It's in level 4 after I shot through the glass on the roof of the hotel, and jumped on all the crates (there is a large statue of the hotel building lit up in the middle of the room). After I kill everyone in the room, there is an "exit" door and a "lounge" door. The exit door leads to another door which I can't open, and I can't open the lounge door. I remember earlier in the level there is a key that I get that is supposedly for the restaurant, but I can't open that door either. Does anyone know how I'm supposed to finish up this stinkin level? I'm gettin a little frustrated.

I've already uninstalled it, so I can't check precisely which of these is the answer, but it is one of them: Either 1) go into the booth on right hand side and look for a door switch in there, or 2) Go up the stairs and look for the set of doors up there. They are easy to miss.

run back a bit to the "reception" gated box thing (looks like one of the stalls where you go cash in your chips in Las Vegas). there is a red button in there that says "exit." press that and you will hear a noise. when you pressed the button, the 2nd door is opened and the noise you hear is the door closing you have to press and run for the door...

I just got a copy of this game at CC for $14.99 and WOW--this is really something. I can tell I'm going to go through it fast, but for $15, who cares?! This is a great game!

If they'd coded in some multiplayer action this game would be off the charts right now... But they didn't . Any gossip on possibilities of multiplayer action in the near future?

Great game at any price though. Enjoyed it thoroughly beating it once on two difficulty levels. Has anyone tried the New York Minute difficulty setting? I'm too chicken

I tried it, but after beating a game like that, I'm not too thrilled to play it again--even at a different speed. I beat the whole thing though without any hints.

I've heard that they do NOT plan on releasing any multi-player updates, sadly. Oh well, let's hope for some expansion packs anyway. Great game.
