Any reviews for Extermination on PS2?
Anyone try this or hear good things? I'm in the mood for a good Resident Evil type game. I bought Outtrigger today instead of Extermination and while it's a good multiplayer, the 1 player game is quite isn't very involving.

All I can say is good luck....I posted this thread over the weekend and have not received a response yet. Nor can I find an online review for this title....the previews have looked good but I would like to see a review of this title prior to purchasing it.

Only two currently on ebay....does not seem to be a popular title. I am so confused....I may go ahead and preorder it for $43 and change shipped. Can always sell it for at least $35.00 on ebay if I don't like it.

I picked this game up yesterday. It's pretty cool. My friend at EB told me it's somewhere between Resident Evil and Syphon Filter, and I think that's a pretty good description, based on the 20 minutes or so I played last night.

Thanks for the responses. I bit the bullet and bought it without reading any reviews. So far so good. It's tough but thankfully it veers from Res. Evil by having more logic based puzzles and much more deeper gameplay. So far the story ain't that great. In fact, it reminds me of the DC game, Carrier mixed with John Carpenter's The Thing. I don't know if I'd compare it to Syphon Filter, but I will say the control of the main character owes a bit to Solid Snake(minus the stealth aspect). If you're in need of a new Resident Evil game then definitely pick it up.

Cereal-
I don't know what you think about this game as you'v gotten further into it, but the I'm more impressed than my initial post would imply. This is more than enought to tide me over until Half Life, Devil May Cry, and Code Name: Veronica.
