We all know how Nintendo has the biggest franchises (Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, etc...) and we all know how Sega always delivers big time on the original games/franchises (Shenmue,
Grandia II, Skies of Arcadia, Sonic, etc...). Anyway, what if they combined?? They're both gaming-only companies, both with alot of experience, so why not?? Nintendo's power and popular franchises + Sega's imagination and original games. Nintendo has the big franchises, but doesn't really come out with too many original games, while Sega only has about one franchise, but continually comes out with new and unique games, so why shouldn't they combine? Merging would give them both deeper pockets, and they'd be in a much better shape, because they'd probably drag their party developers along with them.

DVD Talk God
there were all those rumors many months ago that Sega was going to be bought out by Nintendo. Actually, that will probably never ever happen. Sega has wisely decided to focus only on software, which, IMHO, has always been their strong point.
