I loathe Phoebe on Friends. I just wish they would fire her or have her die or something. I mean, she has the stupidest jokes, they're not even funny. And she is a cheat and a liar, I can't even remember how many times she screwed over one of the others and all they do is just take it. If she were a person in real life, she'd have no friends.

She is VERY annoying. They should can her. Jenna Elfman would make a nice addition to the bunch.

I personally enjoy Phoebe. I think she adds to the show's dynamics by balancing things out. I especially love when she and Joey do scenes together.
Maybe the writers aren't living up to our expectations when it comes to your opinion about Phoebe. We've come to take for granted the unbelievably excellent writing on that show.

I think her and Joey ought to get together!

She's a great singer. Haven't heard that smelly cat song in a while though!

What are you talking about? There's no 'unbelievably excellent writing' on this show. Ever since the writers ended the whole Ross & Rachel thing with their divorce, it's just gone stale. They didn't even leave open the possibility of them getting back together, and I really don't care for the Monika+Chandler thing. Why don't we try getting rid of Phoebe for a couple of episodes and bring in someone fresh. What happened to Gandalf? He sounded fun.

Who? Me??

As for Phoebe I'm definitely not annoyed with her. She plays the naive, silly girl, that is easy to label as stupid, but, as it turns out, behind all those silly lines she is quite easily the deepest person on the show.

Anyone noticed how few funny lines Chandler gets now that Monica has neutered him. He used to be a riot with the one liners, now the jokes center around Joey's stupidity.

Phoebe is a hypocrite AND a bitch!

In fact, I pretty much HATE all the characters on that show. If my "friends" were anything like that--conceited, self centered, fake--I wouldn't need any enemies.

How much longer is Friends going to be on the air? I use to love it, however this season, I have maybe watched one episode. It just seems stale to me.

I never understood bashing a show ... if you don't like Phoebe or ANY of the characters of the show, just don't watch. Obviously, many people love the show, just look at the ratings.

I don't like Phoebe period. I like the Joey character a lot. So by your definition, it's okay for me to bash this show now that I like atleast one of the characters.

1. I absolutely love Phoebe. She is the only reason that I still watch Friends.
2. Agree with goatboy. Chandler's not as funny as used to be. Drug problem?

I hate Phoebe too. Boy can she look hot though. Like on "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" when she tries to seduce Chandler. Hubba, hubba.

Nope, she's my favorite. But I'm known for having a high threshold for pain.

I don't watch! They'd be hard pressed to find a more annoying cast then they've assembled for this show.

It's a TV fact, that the more drugs on the set, the funnier the show. Classic SNL was a drug fest. Cheers: oozers and cokeheads.

Anyway, I never liked the Ross/Rachel thing, it was boring and every time they hint at it, I stop watching.

Damn right. Chandler used to be the funniest guy in the show, what with his "I use humor as a defensive mechanism" approach to life, but now the show has gotten a little stale. I think things were a little more interesting when Chandler and Monica were just dating, and you couldn't quite be sure where they were headed. Now that they're engaged, and planning out their wedding somewhat (probably slated for a season finale down the road), things have gotten boring.

How do you know it's gone stale this season if you have only watched one episode? I would think you would have to seen more than one 30-minute (or 45-minute "supersized") episode to know if its bad or not this year.

I personally love Phoebe and Lisa Kudrow and always thought she was one of the best things about the show. I hate, and always have hated, Joey with a vengence. Don't even get me started on Ross and how f***ing annoying his character gets. I think this season is pretty good. Not as good as it was at its height, but then again, what ever is? It's still a good show and I enjoy the laughs I get weekly from it.

If you hate Phoebe so much that you can't enjoy the show, then why aggravate yourself? Just don't watch. Personally, I think her character is funny and a change from the other two female lead characters on the show. (Congrats huzefa on 2K, by the way )

As for Chandler, I'm thinking his lack of funny lines has nothing to do with the drug problem. I can't remember what magazine it was (People??), but it was the cover story. They said the entire Friends cast was shocked by Matthew Perry going back to rehab. I hope everything is ok with him, he's a really funny actor.

chloroform the pillow first - that usually does the trick. Errrr....I would imagine. Not that I know about such things. (Honest.)

Oh man i always say the same thing, i use to love him when he was without Monica and just chilling with Joey. Now since hes been with Monica hes matured and turned into a Lame A$$. Before he use to provide with the shows best laughs.
