True True! I for one love Friends and its great. My fav sitcom ever, way better than Seinfeld. I dont understand how people loved that crappy show, it was incredibly dumb, Jerry Sienfeld was way more annoying than Phoebe will ever be, every time his voice when up he sounded like a girl.

I liked both shows. Seinfeld probably wins on balance but I've not yet seen every episode. Bashing one doesn't raise the other in my eyes.... but you were joking, anyway! Right?

I wasnt bashing Seinfeld to make Friends look better, thats just my opinion.

For years I've thought that Phoebs has been a very unlikable and mean-spirited character....

I hear you, ..... she should just stick to those times when she's trying to act sexy. That episode where she tries to scr*w with Chandler and Monica was the funniest one I've seen of her. If you don't remember, it was the one where Rachel found out about them and she tells phoebe and they try to mess with those two.

I like Phoebe. I think the fact that she lies, can be mean, is hypocritical, and everyone takes it because she's also a flake, makes her funnier.

And she's hotter than hell....

I don't hate her, but I do think she her character has really become useless on the show. She still cracks me up. I wouldn't want to see any of the 6 stars leave the show.

I always liked Phoebe. She's probably my fav. female character on the show. Her stupid remarks are soooo funny. Her and Joey should hook up.

I hope they don't go that way. Haven't they learned anything from the past? The show has gone downhill whenever they have paired two of the stars together. The whole thing with Ross and Rachel was funny in the beginning, then he got here and it got dumb...then it just dragged on. Then the whole Monica/Chandler thing, don't even get me started on that whole storyline. Was humorous when they were trying to hide it from everybody else, but lately has just become stupid and overdone. Please God, do not let them make the same mistake a third time.

How on earth can you love Phoebe, and loathe JOEY??!!? Phoebe is a manipulative, rude, slutty, douchebag, who takes advantage, meddles in her friends lives, and is naive to the fact that she screws up their personal relationships and always is criticizing them in extremely rude ways. On the other hand you have Joey, quite possibly the most caring and genuine person in that group. He never puts himself before any of them and always is there to take care of their problems. He never criticizes any of them and is harder on himself more than anything. In the instance of him falling in love with Rachel he is weary of letting his feeling be known in order to maintain the quality of friendship he has with Ross and rachel (which I never understood because Joey is a better match for her, Ross is a massive tool) where in a similar situation, phoebe, tells chandler she found Monica's "soul mate" and instead of never bringing this guy around, she introduces him to Monica, and could care less that she's hurting chandlers feelings and suggests he should find someone else, and also she hates ross for an entire episode for something he did in a dream. Your hatred makes absolutely no sense.
