Based on last week's episode ("I Was Made to Love You"), who else thinks that

Spoiler:
if Warren ended up making Spike a BuffyBot, that Spike will use it to circumvent the chip by ordering it to commit acts of violence or otherwise cause trouble in Sunnydale?

hmmm...that is a very interesting concept.

i think we can guess the other 'uses' he'll have for it.

which brings me to another unanswered question. if vampires have no heartbeat, how do they...uh...perform??

back to the speculation...i bet something like this will happen. i just hope they don't do one of those dorky 'oh no, there's 2 buffys...which one is the real her' kind of things. overdone and lame.

Yeah, that would be lame. I'd be surprised if they did that with Buffy, though, since early in the season they had a "Which one is the real Xander?" episode.

Wouldn't surprise me...

I wouldn't be surprised if they did a good Buffy/bad Buffy thing (oh no! which is the real one) because, as you said, they did it with Xander and didn't they do it with Willow, too???

But, remember the week before when Dru showed up. She showed him that it was only in his head (heh, heh) and he did overcome the problem and feed on that girl. I think his motivations are more along the lines of why any guy would want a robot Buffy (I'd order up the entire female cast, myself).

I think that:

Spoiler:
The Buffy-Bot will be destroyed when it's used as a decoy against Glory.

Oh, and Darren, I don't think Spike overcame anything in that ep. Dru broke the girl's neck before passing her his way. Since she wasn't alive, the chip shouldn't have any effect.

ctyner,

I like that idea. It sounds very plausible. And you're right about the Spike thing.

ha. good point. this will probably happen....or they'll just scrap the whole idea all together.

and man...was last night's episode good! and angel was pretty dang good too.

i didn't like the psychic demon at first...but he is pretty freakin' funny these days. actually, ever since angel took him to the school library and kept telling everyone that was the new school mascot!

Whenever Faith comes back on, please send a heads-up thread. I can't get enough of Elisa Dushku.

Another scenario:

Spike's creation of the "Buffy-Bot" ends up unintentionally (to Spike) becoming a decoy and saving Dawn (The Key) from Glory. I can see how Glory might think that the Buffy Bot is real and it can lead her from the key.

Just a thought

Isn't the decoy the same scenario I listed above?
