Something to maybe keep in mind if you haven't played the second game, unlike the first game and thus season 1, the story in the second game isn't told in a linear fashion. It's almost 2 separate games for most of it, after the opening part, so the writers will have to blend all that together.

I imagine they'll use flashbacks, like they did in the game, to fill in blanks.

I know I caught a lot of flak for this when I suggested something similar in Walking Dead threads way back, but could y'all put a lid on the video game references? Some of us never played them. I mean, you're all being pretty cool by keeping things spoiler tagged, but even so there's still the occasional "wait till you hear her backstory" or whatever. I know the show is still different from the game, but there's a lot of things you guys know that I don't, and I'm enjoying going in unawares.

I'll abide by whatever the majority wants, but it's likely if the video game references keep coming up that I'll probably just stay out of The Last of Us threads altogether.

^ it can be difficult but I do agree it would benefit those like you who did not play the game. I’ve seen other places where they have separate threads; one for zero video game talk and one for open spoilers. I don’t think we have a large enough group here for that, though.

It also doesn't help when people keep asking questions that will be answered later in the season. Have some patience people.

Flashbacks are almost a certainty since
Spoiler:
Joel dies early in the game and I doubt they only show Pedro Pascal in 1-2 episodes
