Who gave the best or your favorite acting performance in Lost?

But seriously Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson always solid. Josh Holloway was underrated and should've had a bigger roles.
Always enjoyed Jeremy Davies offbeat character and his interactions with Desmond who was also terrific.

Surprisingly played by Daniel Day-Lewis.

Is it odd that it's common to talk about acting ON a TV show, but acting IN a movie?

Went for O’Quinn, but pretty much a tie with Emerson.

Forst thought that came to me was why is this "..In Lost' and not On Lost

Terry O'Quinn gets my vote. He was great on the show.

Emerson and O'Quinn are the Emmy winners and the right answers, IMO. But I will always hold a special place in my heart for Elizabeth Mitchell's Juliet. I felt a real emotional connection to that character and really felt the loss when she was killed off.

Has anyone mentioned the dog yet? I liked the dog.

Probably Emerson. It's my understanding when he was cast the character wasn't intended to play such a large role but the showrunners saw Emerson's impact and rolled with it.

Josh Holloway was underrated as Sawyer.

Damn near everyone was solid. Mitchell as Juliet was underrated. I also loved Cusick as Desmond and Davies as Daniel Faraday was great.

I saw this thread and couldn’t remember who played the sort-of-lead guy.

Henry Ian Cusick. The Desmond-centric episodes, particularly "The Constant", were often the best of the series.

I chose an unlikely selection and went with Matthew Fox as Jack. The character wasn't nearly as interesting as countless other, but the acting performance really sold the authenticity and damage.

To me Terry O'Quinn, Michael Emerson and Matthew Fox were the standouts. On paper Jack could have been a stereotypical hero and he was set up this way in the pilot, but he wasn't and Fox delivered that brilliantly. Especially in the flashforwads when he was a bearded drunk, trying to be on another plane crash.
