Season 2 has been a bit of a mess, IMO. Everything about how the "mystery virus" in episode 2 was handled, by both the team and the people infected, was hilarious. We've been through COVID. People understand how this works now.
The scientist, who's scared to death of ancient viruses, thought she had one and was just walking around and into a hospital without PPE? No quarantine for any of them? No masks for the doctors checking the patients with said mystery virus?

This season definitely isn’t starting off strong. Two poor to mediocre episodes. Hopefully with the bank back together it will find its form.

I don't get what they're going for with bringing a Sherlock character into the mix. I really hope it's a situation where he only pops up in a few episodes at most.

I have drifted away from this show rather quickly. I think I never watched the last 2 eps from the 1st season, and it sounds like I am not missing much by not having seen the first two eps of this season. I was aware of what transpired on the last two eps in the first season and just thought I would jump right on into watching season 2.
Oh well, there is so much to watch that it is not a big deal if I do not get caught up with this show.
The big thing for me was that the show messed around with the teams dynamic so much that it was a turn off. I chose not to watch the last two eps.
For a brief period of time, I really loved this show and watched it on my DVR/Streaming box not long after an ep aired so as to always be caught up.
I guess this might be the last season we see of this show.

I got bored with it last season about halfway through. I think the twins annoy me.
Also thought Holmes was killed, they never found his body?

No. His explanation was that he faked his death so Watson would move on and not spend his life looking for Sherlock after whatever happened with him and Moriarty. Of course, Watson straight up murdered Moriarty, so that's no longer an issue.

Oh
They took Moriarity out of this already?
That’s too bad.

Yep. End of season 1 wrapped up that storyline.

Episode three was better than the last two but still middling.

Adding Sherlock and Mycroft to the show will probably be its downfall. This show doesn't need a season long story arc. They're probably upset they gave up on Moriarty so quickly in season 1.
IMO the cast and writing is good enough for this to do well just as a case of the week show.

If they go back to Ingrid being "bad", I'm out.

It was all due to Moriarty though. Now that he's gone, there's no reason for her to be bad to anyone in the clinic.
I do think they're planning something with her and the guy in her meetings, I just hope it's something new and not a retread of last season.

I think I'm the only person still watching this show but it's been cancelled.

I'm watching it but not really feeling this season. It's probably the last of the story of the week, self contained type show I'll watch. At least last season moved along the Moriarty plot a little most episodes until it became the main story. This season it's just procedural.

Just as it gets canceled it gets interesting with the latest episode. Wondering if they wrap it up or are we stuck with a cliffhanger. It’s been a long time since renewals/cancellations came after the last episode was broadcast so they have time.

Still a couple episodes behind, but both my wife and I had the Sherlock twist guessed right at the beginning of the episode. Sad this won't get another season.

The stuck in a pie shop episode was some great TV.
Too bad the plot point they set up at the end will go unexplored with it being cancelled.

I’m glad they gave them the final scene in I assume reshoots to end the series. Would have been a shitty cliffhanger otherwise.
