Through its first five weeks on air, the Kaitlin Olson-led series is averaging 10.42M viewers to be ABC’s most-watched new series in six years, since the 2018-2019 season when The Conners debuted.
The October 22 episode has now amassed 6.83M viewers in seven days of linear viewing, according to Nielsen data, helping the network win the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour for the first time in four years.
When factoring in streaming across Hulu and Disney+, that episode has tallied 10.49M viewers in a week, which is a 191% increase over its live + same-day audience of 3.6M. That’s also a slight 2% increase over the previous episode’s 10.31M viewers.

On hiatus until January after this week's episode (#7).
Watched the one with the vet last night. Good episode... She seemed to dial back the smugness in this one and the ending with her daughter was touching.

I don't think I'm a fan of the potential love interest. I like the actor, but I don't think this show needs it. She already has her ex, the mystery missing husband, and the chemistry with her partner. I don't know why we need another non case of the week storyline added.

Having just started watching the Cumberbatch Sherlock series, I dream of a crossover between Sherlock and High Potential. Two exasperated partners find solace in knowing they aren't alone as their hyper observant counterparts solve mysteries and try to outdo each other.

I confused folks on this thread, I was behind by an episode and did not realize it. I caught up yesterday, so I caught the Guttenberg ep and the latest one to air on Hulu.
I think Kaitlin Olson really is acting her ass off in this show, as noted on another pop culter/movie site I frequent.
Looking forward to many more seasons to come.

Saw the first couple episodes and will need to catch up. Didn't realize it's based on a French TV series. Watched the first episode of that one and thought the similarities were intriguing.

Even though it’s basically the same episode every week and really devoid of originality, I still find this quite an entertaining show. Olson does an amazing job and all those lines she has to read and memorize, that’s amazing. I’m glad this is doing well, but they got to do something to spice it up, I think, a bit, so it doesn’t get stale and lasts.

Yeah, I guess that's a perk of living and filming in LA. You can have Steve Guttenberg when you need him.
Dillahunt on the other hand has 5 projects, including HBO/WB's Lanterns, in production. But that could also explain them having plans for him without him having the time commit.

It could also be relationships with the cast, crew, production, casting directors, or just being fans and wanting to do a quick spot and get paid either as a favor or to make some money.
