50 can't be a celebrity season. It kind of had to be some sort or returning players. Hopefully no previous winners though.

Finally Venus goes home. She was very annoying. And clueless.

As the episode went along, it sure felt like it was leading up to Venus' arrogant attitude blowing up in her face. I can't say I didn't enjoy it.

I'll also add that Maria's odd choice of having Q & Liz play rock, paper, scissors for the reward turned out the way I wanted. I don't want Liz to reap anything good from her whining.

I am cool with anyone else winning now, other than Liz. What an objectionable person she is.

She probably should have just picked Q in the first place and not said she was picking people who were starved the most sinceQ has been on more rewards then anyone in the f7. I feel like this week sorta set up her eventual arrogrant Kingpin who gets taken out before the finale.

Venus with the masterstroke of blindsiding herself proves yet again she is in total control of the game.

I don't understand why Liz signed up for this show. She knew her food choices would be limited because she's allergic to so many foods.

Re: Survivor 46 (CBS) Premieres 2/28/24

Tonights penultimate episode was great and unintentionally hilarious as has been the norm for this season.
The weird sendoff Liz gave Q and the heartbroken look on his face had me rolling on the floor! "Sorry buddy!, See ya Q! Go get yourself some tater tots" (whatever that meant!)

And Liz and Kenzie smiling and bouncing around on their seats while Charlie and Maria both looked like 'what just happened'....soooo funny.
I noticed they showed every person's vote after they wrote it so you knew the outcome before Jeff read them out. Have they ever done that before? Not that I can remember. I suppose they knew the real drama came down to whether Q would choose to use the idol or not. Well done editing team!

And we got a strange glimpse into Jeff Probst's life outside of the show. He said he watches a lot of police interrogation videos. WTF?

The different variations of Q that they wrote on the parchment were fantastic.

These dumbasses need to worry a little less about the long game and worry more about making it thru the night.

Am I wrong in that every idol found this season has walked out in someone’s pocket?

Yup, except for the fake one, that one was played.

Why would Maria vote for Charlie but not tell Q to play his idol? That made zero sense to me.

She was confident the other two girls were voting for Charlie, which they should have. But instead they thought it was more important to vote out Q because, well, they could giggle about it and they aren't very smart.

That said, Q should have played the idol. and then he and Marie would be playing against the skeletal remains of the other three people left.

Still doesn't make sense. Maria shouldn't have cared at all whether or not Q has an idol next tribal council because there was zero chance that he ever plays it for anyone but himself.

I figured it was a blow against Maria, who’s a bigger power player than Charlie at this point.

But even if there was a hint of the girls voting for Q, which they showed there was, she should have warned Q to play his idol. They didn't even show the girls going along with her plan to vote for Charlie.

Dumb play by Maria if that is the case.

Q's best move would have been to pull out his idol at tribal even if he still wasn't going to use it. It would have sent the others into a scramble and could have saved him for 2 tribals. He's using it next time regardless, so nothing to lose.

If Maria is the biggest jury threat, then voting out Charlie who has a better chance at beating her in an immunity challenge makes their move the most logical imo.

Yeah, we thought that was really weird. I guess it was to make the blindside land harder, but it was a bit disorienting being so straight-forward. We kept looking at each other and going, is there some twist we're not anticipating??? LOL

Unless the show edit is deliberately misleading us, Charlie leads her by a mile.
