What We Do in the Shadows, S5

I'll mention American Dad's latest season, which just finished airing in December and may actually be its final season to boot. The TBS era has been hit or miss but they went out on an incredible high note. Four or five of the final episodes in 2023 were absolute gems, some of the best American Dad in years. Just about the last great animated comedy still churning out funny stuff. The Simpsons is dreadful by comparison.

Was getting close to the end and was almost shocked . . . finally What We Do In the Shadows and Reservation Dogs popped up!

I don't watch much for TV seasons, but I would say those, Ted Lasso, and Rick and Morty would be my 5 through 2 slots in no particular order.

First place, unquestionably: The Last of Us.

Honorable mention: Twisted Metal was highly enjoyable!

Shamed mention: I actually got hooked on the Squid Games reality show . . . Shame. Shame. Shame.

Not quite there: Monarch: Legacy of Monsters started off pretty good, but has been faltering in its last few episodes.
