Re: The Challenge: USA (CBS) - Season 2 - premieres 8/10/23
I watched the premiere this morning. It's better to watch it on Paramount Plus uncensored, but the episodes aren't available until the next day. I like the idea of the ping pong ball lottery for eliminations. I don't know why they haven't done it before. I wish they didn't cast the goof for this season. I'm already tired of him. Also, I want a daily challenge and an elimination in every episode please.

It's a great idea if Production is actually doing a legit draw. I think a lot of the rumors about Production aren't necessarily true. If someone found out they were stacking the deck, the show could get sued. The cast is competing for a lot of money and I'm sure there are rules and relegations for these types of contests.

I don't think they would get sued because the Producers are likely having them sign a release/waiver acknowledging that such things may be altered or fucked with. They likely also sign some sort of non-disclosure letter as well so they can't reveal too much of what may be done.

I watched the new episode and was pretty underwhelmed. Pretty dull episode and challenge.
Not a fan of most of the people on this season. Had to hurt Bananas ego to be picked so low.
I will continue to watch but begrudgingly.

I saw that tvline.com posted their recap of the episode before it even started. It must be automated and they didn't consider golf overrun delaying things so much.

They get screeners and watch it days in advance. I’m sure they set it up to post right after the episode ends earlier in the week and didn’t take sports overrun into account. My YouTube TV DVR messed up the recording and I stayed up to watch it on Paramount+.

I felt bad for Jonna. Tori really manhandled her. It’s interesting that they’re not doing a female elimination and then a male elimination. They’re going to have to catch up somehow if they’re going to have an even number for the final.
Desi is a beast. She did the daily twice and completed it both times. She also looks amazing.

Glad at least to sere this is more of a traditional Challenge season. I didn't care that much for USA season 1.
I have to record the show to watch later anyway.so I'll definitely will be watching the season this way instead.

I have never been a Jonna fan, so I was glad to see her leave. Honestly, even though Tori dominated, she looked like she was taking it easy on Jonna for most of it and holding back. I would have loved to see Tori dismantle Amanda and not hold anything back. Amanda literally has to be one of the most annoying women on the planet. How she found a dude to give her a son after she opened her mouth, I have no idea. Goes to show you that guys will fuck anything.
After this season, I would prefer they even the vets #s with Survivor, Big Brother, etc. While it is interesting to see the vets backs against the wall and try to climb out of it, it seems a little unfair as well.
And yes, Desi looks great and is a great competitor. Her arms look amazing. The producers owe her for the bullshit she went out on last season.

Looks like the Vets have their work cut out for them this season. No one is falling under their charms or coercion (or Bananas crying).
They are a little late on this but since they can pick what team they want to go to after winning an elimination, why don't they start going to the team with the most Vets and try to make a majority VET team. Then if they win the regular challenge, they are keeping themselves safe from elimination and you pick off the other teams. But now that two loyal vets are gone, probably hard to do with Fessy appears to be doing his own ting and Corey is playing like the idiot he always is. Him and Nelson always make me laugh. They claim to be legends in this game, but their overall gameplay always is terrible.
And Amanda. Ugh. Just go the fuck away.
And I love the lottery aspect of this. Makes the politics much more interesting going into elimination and even at the Elimination round. They should have done this years ago.

The blue team had the votes to put Bananan's as one of the 2 names for elimination even without Corey, how can his game be terrible when this season it's been the opposite of Nelson who was a lackey for Banana's/Tori/Jordan group on Ride or Die who got cut like a chump.

Off topic, but it involves The Challenge. I bought tickets to Challenge Mania Nashville. The first two cast members announced in July were Devin and Jonna. Two champs that and I wanted to meet both of them so I bought tickets. The next three people announced were Anessa, Josh, and Tori.... I'm cool with meeting Tori since she's a champ, but I wasn't expecting everyone to be a member of the vacation alliance....

Man, it sucks that two episodes per week is done. It was great to realize there was new episode coming on when there was just one a few days ago.

Wow. That challenge with the balls and the spool might be one of the hardest I have seen in recent memory on the show. Or any of those kinds of shows for that matter.
I think I would have lost my mind trying to complete it. I was actually surprised that it even got completed.

I haven't watched Traitors so I didn't want to post this in that thread so I don't accidentally find out who wins, but Bananas, CT, and Trishelle will be on Traitors season 2. https://tvline.com/lists/traitors-se...hotos-peacock/
